Psychotherapy

I offer individual psychotherapy at Growing Relations, with an integrative focus on psychological, somatic, and existential health. One of my main areas of expertise is the mind-body connection and how psychological interventions can have a major impact on physiological processes in the body (i.e., psychoneuroimmunology and psychoneuroendocrinology). I have extensive knowledge of long-term conditions such as fatigue and pain and have worked at a clinic for behavioral medicine at a university hospital.

My work is mainly based on Compassion-focused therapy (CFT) and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), and a holistic perspective where body awareness, somatics, and relationships as well as societal context and lifestyle factors are an important part.
